Tam Hai beach

Tam Hai is a wild beach to the north of Chu Lai airport in Vietnam. It is also known as Cua La. Most of the coast is made of sand dunes with pine trees. And only in the southeast (almost near the river's estuary), there is a small village with some tourist infrastructure. Near the river, you can swim in a calm water, - while waves are usually strong in other places. Unfortunately, near the river, sea water is not quite clear, and there is a problem of strong low tides. But anyway, it is very nice here sometimes, when the weather is good. Shore and seabed: sand. There are just a few campsites and guesthouses near Tam Hai beach. But choice of accommodation options is limited.

Fly to Da Nang International Airport (DAD). Next hire a taxi.

The best time for a beach holiday in Chu Lai is a dry season from January to August.
