How to get there 
Fly to Male international airport (MLE)
. Next take a government MTCC ferry

. The journey takes 50 minutes per way and costs about US$2 per person. The ferry runs every day except Friday:
- there: departure from Male at 14:30 - arrival in Himmafushi at 15:25;
- back: departure from Himmafushi at 8:45 - arrival in Male at 9:40.

When to go 
The best time for a beach holiday on the Maldivian island of Himmafushi is a dry season from January to April.
As for the surfing the best time is from April to October, where June-July have the perfect conditions.
