Pwani Mchangani beach

Pwani Mchangani is a beach in the northeast of Zanzibar island, Tanzania. Coastline is very nice and cozy - especially in front of good resorts. But there are also few dirty areas, where the locals live. Of course, there is a problem of strong low tides. But great sandbank is exposed during the low tide. On the other hand, the water is muddy during the high tide. But it's quite typical for Zanzibar. The place is less crowded if compared to more popular beaches of the island. Fly to Zanzibar international airport (ZNZ). Next hire a taxi.

At the current time, there are many direct flights to Zanzibar. So connections flight via Dar es Salaam makes sense only in case, if you plan a safari on the mainland.
