Playa de la Boquilla beach
Ultimate guide (November 2025)
Playa de la Boquilla is a popular beach to the north of Cartagena Airport in Colombia. The beach itself is mediocre, but still acceptable. Sea water is not quite clear. However, swimming is comfortable. The sand is dark, and there are no trees. However, there are a lot of ugly cafes, as well as beach huts for rent. Please note, that there are many pushy beach boys - including cafe owners, as well as different kind of freaks. This makes you want to leave the beach immediately and never return. Shore and seabed: sand.
